Our Martyrs

The eleven persons on this page lost their lives as a result of the Cyprus Problem. Nine were Lurucinali’s while Ramadan Şekerali was from Matyat. His son Veli Şekerali was brought up in Lurucina and his mother Hatice Veli ‘Kirlapo’ was married to Mehmet Yusuf ‘Skordo’. Veli was the first cousin to the creator of this site Ismail Veli.

Mehmet Ahmet ‘Skordo’ was from Pyroi but his wife was Behice daughter of Hacer and Ibrahim Arif. They are listed on the Mehmet Katri Kavaz page. Behice is also a relative of this sites creator.
